RCS & RDS is one of the largest telecommunications groups in Romania, and every year it manages to substantially increase its customer base in a market in which there is anyway saturation. Under these conditions, it is surprising what RCS & RDS has achieved, more precisely, it has managed to increase its customer base DIGI Mobil has fallen behind Telekom, of course being helped by the fact that the losses of customers of the German group were very high in 2020 as well.
RCS & RDS announced that at the end of 2020 it had 3.7 million customers using DIGI Mobil services in Romania, while Telekom had announced that it had 3.643 million customers at the end of the same year. In practice, RCS & RDS and Telekom are about equal in terms of the number of customers of mobile telecommunications services, and this is something that no one thought could happen, at least not so early, considering the differences between operators.
RCS & RDS: Total AMAZING, NOBODY Thought It Was Possible
RCS & RDS annually manages to attract almost 2 times more customers than Telekom through porting, and this combined with the fact that the latter kept losing customers en masse every year, brought us to this point. The small differences between the customer bases of the operator owned by RCS & RDS and Telekom are not to be found in the price differences, nor in the quality, here things are much different, the German group offering better services for all its customers.
RCS & RDS it still has the advantage of low prices, and if it continues at the same pace, it should exceed a customer base of 4 million, but it is not known if this will happen in a year, two, or more. However, the achievement of those from RCS & RDS is impressive and deserves praise because it is not easy to surpass such an important international group as Telekom, so the news is good for everyone at this moment.
RCS & RDS for now he has not boasted about his achievement, but as the differences between the customer bases will increase, we can expect to see announcements praising the achievement.
