The Coronavirus pandemic has brought a new possible critical record in Romania, and this is because we are talking about probably the largest number of people hospitalized in intensive care since the beginning of the pandemic until now, 1434 people being hospitalized now.
The DSU presents below the evolution of intensive care bed occupancy from the end of 2020 until now, today's figure being the highest recorded, and if I remember correctly, until the end of 2020 the number of available ICU beds was much lower .
DSU also shows us how the situation has evolved, how much the occupancy level has decreased at the ATI, and how everything has increased without stopping in the last period, the situation moving towards the point where it is possible that there are no more intensive care beds available.
