The Government of Romania, through the Ministry of Health, is changing the rules regarding the quarantine of localities in Romania, the order having already been published in the Official Gazette, and based on it it is possible that a locality will be quarantined more easily than until now.
The Romanian government has established new criteria on the basis of which the quarantine of a locality can be decided, those from the Ministry of Health are discussing with the other ministries to make a decision as correct as possible that imposes more equidistant rules for the application of these measures.
The Romanian government will now take the decision to quarantine a locality based on a score established by the Ministry of Health, and the concept of quarantine of a metropolitan area is also introduced through this major change.
