The apps infected with this malware for Android were thought to request access to the notifications that came to the phones, which were hidden from people, and so the hackers subscribed to up to 5 premium services from which they received money for what their malware did .
Android does not have natively implemented protections against such types of attacks, so users are the ones who have to be careful what they do in their phones to avoid problems of this kind. Google Play Store had removed all the applications in which malware of this kind was discovered, but those from Huawei were in no hurry to do this, although they will more than likely clean their store of these Android applications that want to harm people.
