Rules from the Romanian Government to Lift Restrictions

Rules The Romanian Government Lifts Restrictions

The Romanian government has decided that the process of preparing the return to normality in our country will take place as the Prime Minister announced a few weeks ago, and from June 1 some restrictions could be lifted in our country.

However, the Romanian government wants the lifting of these restrictions to take place only if 1% of the country's population is vaccinated (probably with at least one dose) by June 35, which at the moment has little chance of happening, considering daily vaccination rate.

"Today, we had the first discussion in the Interministerial Committee that prepares Romania's return to normality, in sanitary safety conditions for citizens, a process that has June 1, 2021 as a benchmark.
It is a moment we have been waiting for for a year, because we have the hope of the gradual resumption of normal life after the difficult period of the pandemic.
Each ministry will make proposals, based on consultations with the sectors of activity. In this committee we will analyze them, in order to be able to come and publicly present solutions aimed at preparing the return to the social and economic life before the health crisis.
June 1 is the first step, which we can take if we continue to respect health protection measures and get vaccinated. Our goal remains to immunize five million people, or 35% of the population, by the end of May, and ten million people by August 1.
A successful vaccination campaign brings normalcy to Romania!"
