DACIA Duster 3: The Special Change Imposed in the New Model

DACIA Duster 3 emissions

DACIA Duster 3 is in full development at the moment, and although we are still several years away from the moment when it will be launched, some of the details of the new car have begun to be revealed. The French press discovered that it is very possible, almost certain, that the DACIA Duster 3 will be offered with the Euro 7 standard since on January 1, 2025 it will be imposed for new cars, and this of course brings important changes to the series.

DACIA Duster 3 will most likely be made on the CMF-B platform, which is also used in Logan 3 and Sandero 3, and the Euro 7 standard can be used with this platform without problems. In the case of the Bigster, even those from DACIA have confirmed that Euro 7 will be the standard used, but in the case of the DACIA Duster 3 it should be about something similar offered for cars, and of course this would be great news for all those who they are waiting to buy them as soon as possible.

DACIA Duster 3: The Special Change Imposed in the New Model

DACIA Duster 3 should also be offered in a hybrid version, for now it is not clear in what form, but this option will help reduce carbon emissions for the series. The implementation of the Euro 7 standard will also be another very important step in the same direction, so the DACIA Duster 3 should benefit from major technological leaps when it is launched, including in terms of the engines offered.

DACIA Duster 3 could still be launched without a 4×4 version, as the DACIA people are not yet sure that they can offer it at least in the Bigster, which will be more expensive anyway, and should have more features. In the case of the DACIA Duster 3, it is certain to be offered in a version with 4×2 traction, but beyond that anything becomes possible, especially since in Romania the CMF-B platform cannot be produced in Pitesti with 4×4 traction without modifications for the line of existing production.

DACIA Duster 3 should be launched in 2024 or 2025, with DACIA saying that the launch plans can be advanced depending on how sales for the cars in the series evolve.
