WhatsApp: The Big Secret Revealed for Android Phones

WhatsApp move

WhatsApp has a huge secret discovered for Android phones all over the world, and we're talking about something that will more than likely be extremely useful for a lot of people. More precisely, a few weeks ago a new function was discovered for the WhatsApp application for iPhone that allows people to export conversations from their phones, and import them from other phones, something that until now did not exist for the messaging application.

WhatsApp is working on fixing the same functionality, including for Android phones, and the image below shows what was discovered in a beta version of the application for these devices. You can see below what the interface looks like that tells people that the conversations made via WhatsApp on an iPhone are imported into Android phones, and there is also an indicator that shows the progress of the process, so we know how long it is until it is completed.

WhatsApp move conversations

WhatsApp has all this functionality implemented to give users around the world a much better experience when it comes to exchanging phones without losing conversations. It is not yet very clear how everything will work, assuming that Google Drive would be used to transfer WhatsApp conversations between iPhone and Android phones, but it is not certain that this will happen.

WhatsApp implements this system because people need processes to transfer their conversations between devices without too much hassle, so it's good that something like this is finally offered. WhatsApp has not been working on this system for a very long time, but it could be essential in the development of the process by which iPhone and Android phones will be interconnected to the same account, so everything should be launched at the same time.

WhatsApp has not made any official announcement regarding all these changes, they were only discovered in the beta versions of the phone applications, so it remains to be seen when exactly we will actually be able to use them.
