The Romanian government has officially announced that a series of vaccination marathons are being prepared to start in several cities in the country, today being scheduled to start the one that will take place in Bucharest, starting at 16:00.

The Romanian government also says that in the coming weeks, other vaccination marathons will take place in Targu Mures, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi or Craiova, so that many Romanians will have the opportunity to be vaccinated throughout the country.

Citizens are expected at the vaccination marathon in Bucharest, which will start on May 7, at 16:00 p.m., and will end on May 10, at 8:00 a.m., at the Palace Hall and the National Library. The two centers will have 50 vaccination offices, they will be open even at night, and the presentation for vaccination will be possible only with the identity card, without prior appointment.
The President of CNCAV, Valeriu Gheorghiță: After Timișoara, the series of events of this kind continues at the national level, so that, in addition to the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, and the other universities of medicine and pharmacy in Târgu Mureș, Cluj-Napoca , Iași, Craiova organize such events between May 14-16. It is an event organized in partnership with the academic community in Bucharest and local authorities.
The rector of UMF "Carol Davila", Viorel Jinga: We want as many people as possible to be vaccinated, this is the goal of the marathon. Those who are vaccinated now, as part of the vaccination marathon, will do the booster in 3 weeks, in the same locations: the Palace Hall or the National Library. Approximately 1.200 volunteers will ensure vaccination 24 hours a day during the three days.
