Huawei: HamonyOS already convinces OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi or Meizu

Huawei HamonyOS Convinces OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi Meizu

Huawei was once one of the largest phone manufacturers in the world, and now it is preparing to become a major operating system provider for mobile phones. More precisely, those from Huawei launched, based on Android, an operating system called Harmony OS, which for now is only an open source Android modified to no longer have mentions of Google, the company that originally developed it.

Huawei will offer Harmony OS for its own phones, but it seems that even those of the competition will also use this operating system, at least in certain phone models. More precisely, Huawei seems to have convinced even those from OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, Meizu to install Harmony OS in their own phones, and some of them could be sold in not too long for customers interested in buying the products, most likely only in China.

Huawei will offer Harmony OS mainly in China, but anyone outside the country who is interested in installing the operating system will be able to do so, although it is not exactly the best solution. The adoption of Harmony OS by OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, Meizu, would be done mainly in China, and this is because in other areas of the world the operating system will not be so sought after, and now it is not a replacement for Android, but only a kind of alternative.

Huawei made Harmony OS based on Android Open Source, as I told you, so in essence it's all Google's operating system, it runs the same applications, but it doesn't have the Google Play Store and Google Mobile Services. This means that applications such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps, will have to be installed from third-party, insecure application stores, and this is the big problem with Huawei's Harmony OS, which is why it will have the main success in China.

Huawei has serious hopes in Harmony OS, although it is the Android we have known for years, but it remains to be seen how the world will receive it, after it will be officially launched.
