DACIA Duster 3: Radical Decision with Impressive Change

DACIA Duster 3 petrol

DACIA Duster 3 is one of the next two important models of SUVs that DACIA will launch for customers all over the world, and the expectations are very high regarding them. Very high expectations also come with radical decisions, and one of them was not something that many Romanians expected to hear, especially since the DACIA Duster 3 could be less interesting for certain customers, but it all depends on what will be offered in the end.

DACIA Duster 3 is currently in full development at the DACIA company, and this means that the press is slowly, little by little, learning about many of its novelties. One of the most important is related to the new engines that will be available for the DACIA Duster 3, and this is because DACIA and Renault would have the intention to completely abandon diesel engines for the new SUV, something that has already happened with the Logan 3 and Sandero 3.

DACIA Duster 3: Radical Decision with Impressive Change

The DACIA Duster 3 would be offered exclusively in gasoline engines, the first of which would be composed of a 1.2-liter TCe engine, in 3 cylinders, which will be launched with the Kadjar 2 in 2022. This engine will develop 130 HP , and will be combined with an electric motor, but including a 1.6-liter engine will be available for the DACIA Duster 3, which is also combined with an electric motor, as has been the case with the Clio for some time.

DACIA Duster 3 will remain without diesel engines, but this will not be the only major change because its design will be very similar to that of the Bigster, so you can imagine how the car will look. Why DACIA and Renault made the decision to make the DACIA Duster 3 and Bigster similar can be explained very simply by the strategy of reducing production costs that we have seen in recent years with the models launched on the market by the manufacturers.

DACIA Duster 3 could be launched in 2024, but it is not excluded that we will see the car earlier if the current model will not generate the sales expected by the DACIA and Renault groups.
