Valeriu Gheorghita, the coordinator of the vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus, said today that from now on children can also be vaccinated against the dangerous virus, but everything must be done only if a parent is with them when they come for immunization.
Valeriu Gheorghita also recommends the appointment for vaccination so that young people do not have to wait in line when they go for immunization, this being updated to also allow the appointment of children up to 18 years of age.
"The vaccination stage for children aged between 12 and 15 has officially started in all vaccination centers in the country where the vaccine produced by BioTech - Pfizer is distributed. In the last 24 hours, there were over 2.100 appointments in the national platform, in addition to the people who showed up directly at the vaccination centers. We know that people can get vaccinated either by direct presentation or by appointment. I'm glad that some of the parents chose to make the appointment on the platform, because in this way we can ensure a time interval, but also the guarantee that we will receive the respective dose."
