Andrei Baciu: The method by which unvaccinated Romanians can Travel, without Proof of Healing

Andrei Baciu unvaccinated Romanian travelers

Andrei Baciu, secretary of state within the Ministry of Health, says that Romanians who are neither vaccinated nor have any evidence of healing can only travel with tests to confirm that they are not infected with the new Coronavirus at the time they travel.

Andrei Baciu says that vaccination is the only way to travel without worries, especially if the classification of the countries in which we travel changes, from the point of view of the Romanian authorities, vaccination escaping from quarantine in almost any conditions, and giving us access pretty much everywhere.

"If they still had a test taken by a medical staff, its positive result is sent to the DSP or reported in the Coronaforms platform and should be in the system. If, however, it is not found in the system, from a theoretical point of view - but strictly theoretical - there would still be the possibility of determining the antibodies, which, however, could not be standardized. The problem here is to set a base-line, to have a single standard for the determination of antibodies, which we do not have. From a medical point of view, you have to have very strong scientific data and evidence."
