WhatsApp has been working for some time on this colossal change for its messaging application, one that has been requested for years, and years, for days by many people, and it seems that now it would be offered. WhatsApp says that this encryption key can only be composed of numbers and free spaces between a and f, but written in small format, so that any other character is not allowed. It is normal for WhatsApp to proceed in this way with this encryption key, and to try to offer all its users only the best possible experience when it comes to securing data, so that Apple and Google can never access them again.
WhatsApp "resisted" for a good period of time the requests to encrypt the data that is saved in the backups in the platform, they can now be accessed by government agencies on the basis of warrants. After this system will be implemented, the data that is saved in WhatsApp backups will no longer be able to be accessed by the users who saved them in their phones, and this will certainly generate many complaints from various governments.
