Valeriu Gheorghita spoke today about the vaccination situation in Romania, and said that Romanians must understand how serious the situation is at the moment, but also how important vaccination is to limit the power of the 4th wave of infections.
Valeriu Gheorghita is trying to convince Romanians from all over the country that they should vaccinate in the next period, and says that they should understand that they have to do this, and after the holidays and the summer, Romanians will return to vaccination.
"Our activity is currently very much focused on reducing the gap between urban and rural vaccination coverage. (…) It is important to continue the vaccination campaign, even if at this moment the number of those who are vaccinated with dose 1 is decreasing. I am convinced that in the coming period, after the excitement of the holidays passes, people will understand the importance and benefits of vaccination and will apply in greater numbers."
