Valeriu Gheorghita spoke again about the vaccination situation in Romania among children between the ages of 12 and 19, but also the adverse reactions that have been reported among them, including the severe ones, which are very rare, but still happen.

Valeriu Gheorghita says that of the 142.000 children between the ages of 12 and 19 vaccinated until now, a series of local adverse reactions have been reported, the vast majority with headaches, fever, etc., but also two cases of myocarditis with very good evolution.

"Practically, it was observed that, for one million vaccinated people in the age group of 12-15 years, we can avoid 5.700 new cases of illness and these cases in the next period may be generated by the Delta strain, they will generate very many cases of secession, when children go to school in a community.

There are 142.000 people vaccinated with at least one dose, people between 12 and 19 years inclusive. There have not been many reports, most are injection site pain, muscle pain, headache, muscle pain, headache, fever, chills. There were two cases of myocarditis in 17-year-olds who had a very good evolution. At the moment there is this signal of myocarditis – inflammation of the heart muscle.”
