Raed Arafat says that the new COVID certificate does not immediately become mandatory for the trips made by people in the states of the European Union, as the transition period is contemplated in the European legislation that allows the use of these digital green certificates.
Raed Arafat comes with this clarification in the context that tomorrow the COVID certificate will be officially available for everyone, so that anyone will be able to download it to use it when needed, but it remains to be seen how many people will actually do it.
"There is a transition period in which they can leave as they have left so far, that is, with the certificates they have. So it's a transition period until it becomes mandatory. The conditions of each state, yes, can be found on the MFA website."
