Government of Romania: New Relaxations in Force from July 12

The Romanian government adopted today an emergency decision that extends the state of alert in Romania for another 30 days, but together with this decision comes one that brings all the new relaxations that you can see below.

"Perhaps the most important change is aimed at those who have gone through the disease. Regarding the certificate of healing for Covid, until now it was valid between 14 and 90 days; its validity should be extended to 180 days, just to be consistent with the emergency ordinance regarding the digital certificate and the European approach.

So, instead of 14 to 90 days passed through the illness, it will be extended to 180 days, therefore, the passage through the disease will be valid for 180 days. For the rest, small changes have also been made, and I will give examples: regarding the organization and performance of the activity of public or private cultural institutions that manage special spaces intended for outdoor cultural-artistic activities, up to 1.000 people are allowed on chairs; when organizing private events - weddings, baptisms - the surface area per person was changed from 4 to 2 m - so that they were all the same, that some had 2 m, some 4 m, now it will be 2 square m; when organizing private events related to festive meals, again, 2 m instead of 4; at children's playgrounds, companions will no longer be required to be vaccinated.

These are the main changes that have been implemented, plus, there is no longer the rule of six people at the table outside the restaurants, so the rule of six people at the table is eliminated from the moment it is also eliminated inside."
