Today, Raed Arafat has an extremely important message for Romania, given that the Delta strain is spreading rapidly in Europe and is causing problems in many countries, but for now the situation here is quite calm.
Raed Arafat says that everything can change because of the trips that Romanians have been making lately, so that at the end of July, beginning of August, it is not excluded that we will see an increase in the number of new cases, including in Romania.
"So, at this moment, the Delta variant is growing as a preponderance, almost everywhere in the world, so not only in Romania. So we see that the prevalence of the Delta variant is increasing almost all over Europe. And we see that in some areas the impact is already greater. Fortunately, we are still in a controlled situation and in a very good situation at the moment.
But, of course, through mobility and going out of the country and going to other countries where the Delta variant is present, it is possible that in the next period there will be more and more growth along the Delta variant."
