Huawei: The Official Announcement, what the Company Sent Today

Huawei published today an official announcement that surprises from several points of view, even if some expected to a certain extent what we see at the moment, the Chinese being put by the Americans in a not very good position with the sanctions from last years.

Huawei announced today its financial results for the first half of 2021, and according to the data published by the company, its revenues totaled almost 50 billion dollars in the first 6 months of the year, down almost 30% compared to the previous year.

Huawei generated lower revenues than in S1 2020 due to the sanctions imposed by the USA and the disappearance of the division that sold Honor phones, but even so the results are impressive if we take into account the obstacles placed by the Americans.

In 2020, Huawei generated revenues of 137 billion dollars, and if we are to judge by today's figures, it is possible that in 2021 they will decrease to 100 billion dollars, but even so, we are still talking about impressive figures without the Honor division and with all the restrictions for its phones.

“Huawei today published its business results for the first half of 2021. Its overall performance was in line with forecasts. In the first half, Huawei generated revenue of CNY320,4 billion, with its net profit margin of 9,8%. We have set our strategic goals for the next five years. Our goal is to survive and to do so sustainably. We will do this by creating practical value for our customers and partners. Despite the decline in revenue from our consumer businesses caused by external factors, we are confident that our transportation and enterprise businesses will continue to grow steadily.”

Huawei shows that it can make money even without selling tens of millions of phones worldwide every quarter, especially since its profit increased slightly, and if the US sanctions had not existed, then probably 2021 would have brought a record income for the Chinese.
