ANPC Warning for Danube Delta Swimming Pools

ANPC has issued a very serious warning regarding the swimming pools built in the Danube Delta in the accommodation locations where Romanians can stay, and as you can see below, we are talking about very serious situations that we must pay attention to.

"Dangerous pools discovered by ANPC in the Danube Delta
Following the checks carried out on August 17, in Murghiol, by the commissioners of the Danube Delta Command, a series of deficiencies were found, extremely important for the health of consumers.
As such, 2 contravention fines were applied, in the amount of 35.000 lei, to which were added complementary measures of temporarily stopping the provision of services at the pool and the use of slides, until the deficiencies are remedied (the restoration and presentation to the control teams of some appropriate analyzes and documents required for the slide), with a proposal to temporarily close the unit for a maximum of 6 months.
The deviations found by ANPC commissioners were the following:
non-compliance with the physico-chemical parameters stipulated by the Order of the Minister of Health no. 994/2018, respectively determined free residual chlorine < 0,3 mg/L, and the PH of the water > 8,2;
the last pool water analysis bulletin, carried out by DSP, in whose possession the economic operator entered the evening of 16.08.2021, indicates the presence of the pyocyanic bacillus (speudomonas aeruginosa), in the amount of 9 CFU/100 ml, compared to 0 CFU /100 ml, mandatory;
the pool did not have the depth of the pool marked, in the areas where this is mandatory, it was not provided with a pre-flood, there were no railings at the cement steps through which the access was made, the black disk for determining the clarity of the water was missing;
the authorization of the administrative-territorial unit was not presented;
the displayed regulation did not indicate the maximum number of users who can be present simultaneously in the pool, it did not designate a pool manager, it did not highlight in the register the operations for determining the physical and chemical parameters of the water, respecting the regularity imposed by the legislator (from 3 to 3 hours), do not carry out water filling operations by emptying a quantity of at least 1/10 of the volume of the pool,
no documents were presented showing the average duration of use of the slide in the premises, nor the performance of risk analyzes in use;
the rules for the use of the slide were not displayed.
ANPC undertakes the activities of prevention and counseling of economic operators (e.g. Sulina), but when deviations from the legislation in force are manifested, especially as they are important, affecting the health or safety of consumers, ANPC commissioners show tolerance zero to these practices!”
