Valeriu Gheorghita issued a very important warning regarding a very big concern in the midst of the 4th wave of infections in Romania, and thus a very serious alarm signal is being raised for all Romanians who have not yet been vaccinated against the Coronavirus.
Valeriu Gheorghita says that the number of infections in people under the age of 40 has increased by 200%, 83% of infected Romanians have not been vaccinated, while 93% of those who have died are not vaccinated, and all because of the much more dangerous Delta variant .
"For the Delta variant, which spreads very easily through contact, it is important to avoid events with a very large number of people, when we will have an increase in the number of cases, let's hope that the epidemiological situation is favorable and will allow the organization of these events in the safest possible conditions.
It is also important to vaccinate as many as possible, because what we observed last week: over 82% of those tested positive are unvaccinated people and over 93% of the deaths occurred in people, again, unvaccinated.
From this point of view, young people, in general, are the people who have been vaccinated less and interact more, they expose themselves to a greater risk of illness and in this way the circulation of the virus is maintained and amplified."
