Raed Arafat: Restrictions will return when the incidence rates increase

Raed Arafat stated today that the restrictions in Romania will return when the incidence rates increase, which is as real as possible in the conditions where we already see two localities for which certain restrictions have already been reimposed after the incidence rates exploded.

Raed Arafat says that until that moment restrictions are not discussed at the national level, but in two weeks things could be different since today we exceeded 800 cases in 24 hours, and by the end of August we could exceed 2000 .

"At this moment, there are no such discussions. But I told you last time, there are several measures in the government decision that we can return to, as the number of cases increases and, above all, the incidence. And from here we will go back and see, in fact, what measures must be returned to and must be applied.

Yes, it is possible, in some places, in certain areas where the incidence or growth rate is very fast, that certain local or zonal measures be taken, but I cannot tell you that such measures will be taken immediately and will be taken on national plan. Not! So, it depends on the incidence. We left in the government decision and in the CNSU decisions the incidence rates to which we can return, they were not abolished - the incidence of 1,5, of 2 per thousand, of 3 per thousand - and which allow us to adapt the measures that they are taken on the areas that reach this incidence."
