Coronavirus Evolution of the Pandemic in Romania Last Week

The evolution of the Coronavirus pandemic in Romania in the last week continues to show us an extremely rapid spread of the Delta variant of the virus, which of course represents an extremely serious problem because the number of new cases continues to grow substantially.

The authorities in Romania continue to confirm the fact that unvaccinated people are infected in the largest number, and among the vaccinated it is not known how many were really immunized, but overall the situation is getting worse throughout the country.

"INSP report for the week of August 23-29: 96.8% of the registered deaths were in unvaccinated people, and 2.4% in people vaccinated with an incomplete schedule!
In the week of August 23-29, 2021, 39.2% of all cases were registered in Bucharest, Timiș, Cluj, Ilfov and Constanța.
82.9% of the confirmed cases were recorded in persons
unvaccinated.
33% of the total deaths were recorded in Bucharest, Dolj, Bistrița-Năsăud, Iaşi and Neamț.
96.8% of the registered deaths were in unvaccinated people, and 2.4% in people vaccinated with an incomplete schedule.
From the beginning of the pandemic until now:
1 out of 77 of the total cases was registered with medical personnel.
86% of all deaths were in people over 60 and 57.5% of deaths were in men.
94.6% of deceased persons had at least one associated comorbidity.
We must protect vulnerable people!
Only through responsibility can we return to normality!
The simplest and most accessible method by which we can defeat the virus remains vaccination."
