The Romanian government issued today an extremely important warning aimed at Romanians from all over the country, one that everyone should know about because we are talking about a very serious problem that targets fraud and fake contests with the company's brand.
"In the last few days, users in Romania received messages announcing that they had won a prize in the DEDEMAN 'Raffle'. For details, they were invited to access a link that redirected to a #phishing page, where they would enter personal or financial data, in order to benefit from the 'win'.
This is a #scam fraud attempt, a method frequently used by attackers (impersonating reputable brands). Dedeman has already published a warning in this regard, on official communication channels, including social media.
DEDEMAN does not organize surveys, online contests or other promotional campaigns with the claim of prizes. Therefore, do not provide personal, financial or authentication data after receiving such messages!”
