Unfortunately, our country is placed in the penultimate place in Europe when it comes to the percentage of the population that has been vaccinated against the Coronavirus, Bulgaria being the only country that could surpass us, the percentage there being almost halved compared to that of our country.
If Portugal has 86% of the vaccinated population, Romania has only 28%, but in the calculation for our country all Romanians were included, including those who work in other European countries, our authorities saying that the real percentage would be closer to 35%, but even so, the place would not change.
The authorities are trying to boost the vaccination campaign with new events to convince people to accept being immunized, but unfortunately the efforts are not crowned with success for now, but maybe they will be soon.
