Raed Arafat: Message for Romanians who do not get vaccinated, or are discharged infected

Raed Arafat spoke in a press conference from the Government of Romania about an extremely serious problem that concerns some Romanians who are discharged from infected hospitals, one recently doing so even from intensive care, and a few hours later he died .

Raed Arafat says that Romanians should find out about the benefits of vaccination on the websites of the authorities in Romania, or even on those of other countries, if they do not trust the Romanian ones, but it is important to get informed because the scientific data are the same everywhere.

"Unfortunately, these cases appear here, there, in emergency rooms, in different locations, yes, and they appear in people... I mean, there are people who don't believe, so they still follow the misinformation that says the virus doesn't exist, that vaccination is bad, that they cannot treat. There are some who think oxygen is bad for them.

So all this misinformation that was made on social media or spread by one or another of the people who spoke publicly, unfortunately, still has an impact on people. We also hear among the explanations for "why don't you vaccinate yourself?": "Well, I want to have healthy children." Because some have been left with the idea that the vaccine does something to unborn children, when there is no evidence, there is nothing to prove it. These are just lies and there is no scientific evidence at all, it is not based on science what is being said now.

From here I say people will have to inform themselves, though. In addition to this information, let them take the official websites and at least read them and see what information they give. If they do not trust the websites in the country, they should go to the official websites of other countries. There are many who know other languages and now it's easy: you take the text from an official website and translate it and you can read it. It is important that they inform themselves correctly, take care of their health, but also of the health of those around them."
