Romania is going through a very aggressive wave 4 of the Coronavirus, the number of cases doubling this week compared to the previous week, and this just a few days after school started, so the effects of this massive movement of people are not yet felt.
Romania would go through the 4th wave through the biggest problems so far in the Coronavirus pandemic, according to a state secretary from the Ministry of Health, and all because of the Delta variant which is extremely contagious and which produces its effects much earlier than previous variants of the virus.
Romania is going through such a serious situation at the moment that the authorities have already started talking about new restrictive measures and obligations for Romanians with the idea of being able to control to a certain extent the explosive increase in the number of new cases.
Romania will discuss a CNSU a measure by which certain categories of people must be vaccinated, or tested weekly at their expense, a measure that is already imposed in other countries that have tried to stop the uncontrolled spread of the Coronavirus on their territory.
Romania could also impose the use of COVID certificates for access to restaurants when the incidents will be high, but probably also in other locations, the rapid expansion of the new wave forcing the authorities to think and impose measures that until now were regarded as purely theoretical.
