Romania is facing a wave 4 of infections with the Coronavirus that generates extremely many new cases every day compared to the same period last year when we were going through a wave of infections in which there was no possibility of protection with the help of any vaccine from any company.
In the last 2 days, Romania registered over 7000 new infections per day, but the biggest problem is with the over 300 localities that are currently in scenarios with restrictions due to the large number of infections that brought the incidence rates to over 3/1000 inhabitants, unfortunately.
Romania has 352 localities where the incidence rates have exceeded 3/1000 inhabitants, this after just a few days ago there were just over 200 in this situation, the growth rate of the localities with big problems being amazing, and 46 of these localities are cities, so we are talking about millions of people affected.
Romania requires the use of COVID certificates in all these localities for some activities that cannot be done by people who have not been vaccinated, tested, cured in the last 6 months, but the even bigger problem is that the number of localities with very high incidence rates will continues to grow.
Romania is going through an extremely strong wave of infections, one that is difficult to control by the Romanian authorities, and this, unfortunately, is already leading to very big problems in the country's hospitals, and it is expected that they will get worse substantially during the following months.
