RCS & RDS is one of the largest telecommunications groups in our country, with millions of customers in various areas throughout the country, the number of subscribers being in continuous growth thanks to the low prices for the services charged. RCS & RDS also has a mobile phone network that covers the whole country, but unfortunately it is not exactly one of the best in Romania, and this is because we are talking about quite poor performances for it.
RCS & RDS had the network performance measured as part of a performance test that Orange did for its own network in Romania, but those of the competition were also included, as you can easily see below, or on this page. Those from Orange did the test to praise their network, but it also reveals the fact that RCS & RDS still have a mobile phone network with very poor performance on the mobile internet side.
RCS & RDS: BAD News for MILLIONS of Customers
RCS & RDS has the lowest internet browsing speeds of all telecommunications operators in Romania, but also the highest latencies when it comes to accessing data, so it's good to know this. Those of RCS & RDS have the lowest prices in Romania for the telecommunications services they offer for their clients, and of course this is very clearly visible in the performances they offer within them.
RCS & RDS is constantly investing in the expansion of its telecommunications network throughout Romania, reaching a coverage of 98% on the voice services side, but for the mobile internet things are much different, as you can see. Those from RCS & RDS compensate to a certain extent with the 5G network they have in Romania, but this does not have a very large coverage, so that overall it does not contribute much to the overall results.
RCS & RDS is the only telecommunications operator in Romania that still offers 4G speeds of up to only 100 Mbps for customers, but even so, it is not very far from Telekom when it comes to network performance.
