Windows 10: Extremely Serious ALERT for Computers

Windows 10 users are targeted by a new and extremely serious alert that should be on the attention of people all over the world, and this is because we are talking about a very serious problem that can cause big problems for people. More precisely, IT security experts discovered a vulnerability that has existed in Windows since 2012, and was not fixed in Windows 10, allowing hackers to take control of a victim's computer.

Windows 10 has this problem because of a system called WPBT, which allows PC manufacturers, or components for them, to run various commands or programs when a computer starts. Unfortunately, it seems that the system can be exploited by hackers so that Windows 10 is completely compromised, and a hacker can take full control over a PC that is compromised through such an attack.

Windows 10: Extremely Serious ALERT for Computers

Windows 10 has an alert issued including by those from Microsoft regarding this major problem, and this is because now the company wants to warn people all over the world about the danger to which they are exposed, unfortunately. As you can see from the video clip above, Windows 10 can have this attack carried out including through malicious emails, all without the victim actually knowing what is happening.

“Since this feature provides the ability to persistently execute system software in the context of Windows, it becomes essential that WPBT-based solutions are as secure as possible and do not expose Windows users to exploits. In particular, WPBT solutions must not include malware (eg malicious software or unwanted software installed without proper user consent).”

Windows 10 is just one of the versions affected, and that's because anything since Windows 8 can be exploited in this way, and there are probably already targeted attacks that have used the vulnerability to extract people's data. Microsoft says that a fix for this major problem will be released at some point, which is perfectly normal, especially since Windows 10 is used by over 1 billion people worldwide, so there is a large base of potential victims.

Windows 10 has not yet announced a possible date by which the problem will be solved by those from Microsoft, so all we have to do is wait and see how everything will unfold in the end.
