The new restrictions imposed in Romania by the authorities have forced Romanians to generate a large number of COVID-19 certificates, so that until now 3.6 million certificates have been generated by people from all over the country for use.
The large number of COVID-19 certificates is not necessarily related to vaccinated people, and this is because they can be generated including by people who have recovered from the infection, but also by people who have been tested.
"Until September 27 at 10:00 a.m., 3.603.264 certificates were generated. In general, the ratio remains the same, approximately 94% certificates issued for attestation of vaccination. One important thing: 650.000 certificates were issued in the last week alone, which is a significant increase.
And another important thing is the fact that the third dose is mentioned on the vaccination certificate, but it is not necessary to take the third dose in order to be considered as a complete vaccination scheme dose. So we will still be able to use the European digital certificate and enjoy all the current benefits while still maintaining two doses of the vaccine.”
