Valeriu Gheorghita: Wave 4, The decision that upset the Romanians

Valeriu Gheorghita explains a very important measure with an impact for millions of people from the whole country, a measure that everyone should know about who during this period either gets vaccinated, or is tested, or has been cured in the last 6 months following the infection .

Valeriu Gheorghita explains below why it is necessary to impose the measure so that only vaccinated people are exempted from the night quarantine rules in Romania, but it is possible that people cured in the last 6 months will benefit from the same thing in the near future.

"Good! Let me tell you from a practical point of view. From a practical point of view, if I want to leave the house today, it would mean that I have to have a test done to go, by the way, based on a negative test. So not everyone has a test done in the last 48 hours or in the last 72 hours to leave the house.

Of course, from an epidemiological point of view, from the point of view of the risk of spreading the disease, a person who is vaccinated with the full schedule and is at least ten days from the second dose, the same as a person who is passed through the disease and is in the first 180 days after a positive test, just like a person who tests negative in the last 72 hours or 48 hours depending on the type of test, is still at low risk of infection.

But I repeat, from a practical point of view, it is very difficult to apply this provision with a negative test, because not everyone takes tests every three days to be able to leave the house, and then the applicability is much easier for those who have proof of vaccination or who possibly have a history of passing through the disease."
