MOON: The AMAZING Image that Surprised All of Mankind

MONTH processing

The MOON is in the center of the world's attention after a stunning new image was published of the Earth's natural satellite, and it is something that is not often seen by mankind in such a form. When the first astronauts landed, NASA published a selfie taken by them on the moon, but in black and white format, and now the space agency has published a color version of the image that circled the planet.

The MOON had this image recorded by Neil Armstrong, and Buzz Aldrin, his famous partner from that mission, appears in it, but the initial image was not only of low quality, but also recorded at a not so suitable angle. Those from NASA processed the initial image recorded on the moon, and below you can see the result in color format, of course still at very low quality, but still looking much better.

The MOON was then visited for the first time by mankind, so the image became iconic because it showed us for the first time the explorers who managed to set foot on another cosmic object in the solar system. In the meantime, the moon has been visited by astronauts, and from 2024 others will arrive who will probably try to show us more of what is hidden there, possibly establishing a permanent base.

“The original image captured not only the magnificent desolation of an unknown world, but also Armstrong himself reflected in Aldrin's curved visor. Enter modern digital technology. In the image shown, the spherical distortion on Aldrin's helmet has been reversed. The result is the famous image – but now it features Armstrong himself from Aldrin's perspective.”

The MOON is in the attention of the whole world during this period because there is great interest in returning the astronauts there, but also in establishing a permanent base for future trips to the planet Mars, and not only that. Some very important missions are already in very advanced stages of the preparation process for the launch, but of course more preparation is needed for them to be completed in the best possible conditions.

The MOON still hides a lot of secrets from humanity, but scientists are sending astronauts again to explain some of those that could not be revealed until now.
