Raed Arafat says that the possible implementation of a new national lockdown depends on compliance with the preventive measures that are in force, without discussing such a radical measure for the time being, even if the number of new cases will continue to increase in the country.
Raed Arafat has always avoided confirming, or denying, the possible imposition of a new lockdown in our country, no matter how high the number of new cases would be, so everything depends on what the Romanians will do in terms of compliance with the measures of prevention.
"At this moment, I believe that if we respected the measures we have and if each of us respected the measures completely, we could control the situation. Unfortunately, I saw images even last weeend, at certain clubs that held festivities with dances, at 2 in the morning, which do not respect any rules at all. That is the irresponsibility at this moment on the part of some and because of which we reached this phase.
For some, the fines that are given are a small warning, because they add up very quickly, in the first hour of a night like this. Maybe we stop, when certain measures appear, to look for how we can avoid them and we try to respect them, at least for a few months to get over this situation we are in."
