DACIA Logan: The decision of the European Parliament that SURPRISES

DACIA Logan parliament

DACIA Logan is one of the most important models sold in Romania and Europe, together with Sandero generating significant sales for the Romanian group owned by Renault. As you already know very well, at the beginning of 2021 new models of DACIA Logan and Sandero were launched for customers in Romania and all of Europe, and they were quite well received by those who wanted to buy them all over the world .

DACIA Logan is popular because it is cheap for what it offers, as is the Sandero, but unfortunately this also comes with a very big disadvantage because the level of safety offered is below the expectations of many. The new models of DACIA Logan and Sandero obtained only 2 stars in the Euro NCAP tests, and the European Parliament now wants both car manufacturers and insurers to make changes in their offers and presentations to alert customers.

DACIA Logan: The decision of the European Parliament that SURPRISES

DACIA Logan is directly affected by a new resolution of October 6 of the European Parliament, by which insurers are asked to take into account the level of safety of the cars they insure in their insurance offers. The European Parliament asks the member states to consider offering incentives to insurance companies to create advantageous offers for those who buy safe cars, DACIA Logan and Sandero, being in the category of those with 2 stars Euro NCAP, therefore not included in such types of offers .

DACIA Logan is a cheap car for which almost anyone can take out cheap insurance, but if the plan of the European Parliament will be applied, then it is not excluded that the insurance for less safe cars will increase. The European Parliament's idea is a logical and good one, and this is because stimulating the purchase of safe cars helps to protect people's lives, even if the DACIA Logan cannot be considered an unsafe car, there are enough shortcomings compared to other safer cars.

DACIA Logan, or Sandero, will not be substantially modified to be able to obtain good results in the Euro NCAP safety tests because that would increase the selling price, but maybe there will be more safety elements in them.
