Raed Arafat stated today in a televised show that the 4th wave of infection with the Coronavirus is completely possible given that in Romania the vaccination rate is very low and there are enough people who remain vulnerable for another wave.
Raed Arafat makes this statement in the context in which the 4th wave has not yet reached its peak in Romania and we expect many more days with over 10.000 infections, so vaccination and compliance with protective measures are the only methods by which we can protect ourselves.
"If we don't vaccinate and more variants appear, we remain vulnerable as we are now. The fact that we are vulnerable to other countries now is because the virus has found a very favorable ground, 70% unvaccinated.
If we don't vaccinate and other variants appear that the vaccine can prevent, we also know that they can appear. If the virus finds a favorable ground for it, it normally enters without a problem.
