DIGI Mobil has a better coverage than Vodafone and Telekom on the mobile telephony side, it being inferior to that of Orange, but it continues to improve it to equal the French group. DIGI Mobil has not invested in the 1G network that it launched in 5 for over 2019 and a half years, and this is because the auction for 5G frequencies has not yet been held, but also because Huawei equipment is somewhat prohibited in Romania. In this idea, the people from DIGI Mobil are waiting for the situation of 5G frequencies to be clarified, something that seems improbable in 2021, especially since the Government of Romania will change, so everything moves to 2022, as it moved from 2020 to 2021, without success.
Meanwhile, DIGI Mobil continues to attract new customers within its mobile telecommunications network, being the leader in the porting segment for several years, without any indication that it intends to stop.
