DNSC has issued an extremely important warning regarding a new phishing campaign that is in full swing at the moment, using the image of ANAF to deceive people all over the country.
"The DNSC team received multiple notifications in the last few hours about a wave of malicious e-mails received by users from Romania, who impersonated the National Fiscal Administration Agency.
The messages had 2 .xlsx files attached which, once downloaded and accessed on the device, could lead to malware infection.
We are in the European Month of Cyber Security, whose motto represents the main advice in this case: 'Think, before you click!'. Do not access those attachments and ignore this email. If it is already too late and you have already done this, we recommend scanning your device with an antivirus solution and removing the malware.
ANAF recently published a warning message on official channels, warning users not to comply with such requests sent by email."
