DNSC: Warning Regarding Accessing Malicious Websites

DNSC Malicious Website Access Warning

DNSC warns Romanians to be careful before accessing malicious websites without realizing what they are actually doing, a situation in which many people have probably found themselves, but one that must be treated with great care, in the end.

DNSC tells Romanians this because there are a lot of phishing campaigns going on at the moment, and if we don't look at what we access, we may have more headaches because of stolen data, and not only that.

"Analyze carefully before you click!

Avoid accessing links or attachments you encounter in electronic messages from unknown sources.

Always check the sender's address from the source of the received message. Attackers often mask their real name.

The bank will never ask you to provide sensitive information by clicking on a link in a message.

Enter the website and find out how you can protect yourself from attackers hunting for your data. We also have a quiz for you if you want to test your skills in detecting and avoiding such threats.

#SigurantaOnline is an awareness campaign dedicated to avoiding fraud on the Internet, run by #DNSC, the Romanian Police and the Romanian Association of Banks."
