OBLIGATORY COVID Certificate Romania Where It Must Be Used

The COVID certificate becomes mandatory in all of Romania starting from Monday, October 24, as President Klaus Iohannis told us a few days ago, but as has been speculated for some time, and this is because all civilized countries in Europe have imposed such certificates for citizens.

The COVID certificate becomes mandatory for all non-essential activities, so that Romanians who have not been vaccinated, who have not been through the disease, or who have passed and are not documented through PCR tests, will not be able to do many things starting from Monday, an absolutely necessary measure to overcome the 4th wave of infections.

The COVID certificate attesting vaccination or healing in the last 6 months is mandatory for:

  1. traveling at night, after 22:00, outside the house, it doesn't matter if you have it on your phone or printed on a piece of paper, the QR code being important;
  2. for access to malls, bars, cafes, hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, and other entertainment locations;
  3. for access to the public institutions of the central and local administration, in the autonomous regions and economic operators with public capital, with the exception of their employees, but here the testing is also accepted;
  4. for access to museums, libraries, bookstores, cinemas, film and music production houses, any kind of location where shows of any kind or concerts are organized, in arts and crafts schools, regardless of whether the events are held in the air free, or interior;
  5. in gyms or fitness rooms, in gambling rooms, including casinos, in indoor swimming pools, in children's playgrounds, in any kind of game rooms;
  6.  in any kind of public catering units where food or alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks can be consumed;
  7. access to the units of economic operators operating in private office buildings where at least 50 people work simultaneously, excluding employees.

The COVID certificate is not required for access to essential food stores, as long as they are not located in malls, nor at jobs, so these remain the only places where anyone can go without needing such a type of certificate .
