DIGI Romania: The OFFICIAL Announcement with an Impressive Shot

DIGI Romania OFFICIAL Announcement Impressive Shot

DIGI Romania is one of the largest telecommunications groups in our country at the moment, with well over 10 million revenue-generating units throughout the country, and millions more abroad. A few weeks ago, those from RCS & RDS announced the launch of new services for the first time in Romania, namely fixed internet with speeds of up to 10 Gbps, dedicated to private customers through very cheap subscriptions for what they offer.

DIGI Romania announced that everything will be available from the beginning of December, well before other competitors, but now Orange comes with a huge surprise, also announcing the launch of similar services. In contrast to those from DIGI, Orange launches fixed internet services with speeds of up to 10 Gbps dedicated to companies in Romania, using the innovative XGS-PON technology, so we are not talking about a service aimed at private customers.

DIGI Romania: The OFFICIAL Announcement with an Impressive Shot

DIGI Romania was the first telecommunications operator to announce the launch of fixed internet services with speeds of up to 10 Gbps, but in the end it will not be the only one to offer services of this kind. Digi, of course, reaches more customers with the solution it offers at the moment, but of course it is possible that at this stage only companies really need such a large bandwidth, but also the latencies offered by technology.

DIGI Romania offers its customers the opportunity to benefit from speeds of up to 10 Gbps in their own home, but the reality is that none of the regular customers ever needs that much bandwidth. RCS & RDS still wants to be among the operators that innovate and offer premiums in Romania, so it had to come to the market with services of this kind, and the fact that it is doing it is commendable from all points of view now.

DIGI Romania will launch its very high-speed fixed internet subscriptions from the beginning of December, but it remains to be seen how quickly everything will be extended to the entire country for customers.
