The effectiveness of vaccines against COVID-19 is presented below in a graph by the European Commission, which includes the results of a study conducted on 100.000 people from Ireland, Luxembourg and Slovakia to find out how much protection the serums offer against hospitalization.
As you can see, vaccines offer extremely high protection against hospitalization for vaccinated people, the number of unvaccinated people who ended up in hospitals being more than 3 times higher, and this is a sign that immunization can be of great help to people.
The European Commission is trying to show all Europeans, but especially Romanians, that immunization against COVID-19 is a very good solution in order not to risk getting a serious form of the disease and ending up in the hospital, or even dying.
