Minister of Education: Last Minute Decisions Affecting All Schools

The Minister of Education's Last Minute Decisions Target All Schools

The Minister of Health speaks in a recent interview about a series of very important decisions that were taken for schools all over Romania, so that at the moment the video materials were distributed in all the schools through which the authorities explain the method of assembling the antigen tests.

The Minister of Health says that the involvement of general inspectors for the distribution of these video materials makes it possible to start testing this week, the decision to rely on them for this process being one that brings more safety to schools by testing students on time.

"The test guide has 3 sections, first of all, in the first part, Professor Rafila presents the method of using these saliva-based antigen tests. In the second part, I, as a teacher, without medical qualifications, administer a test to a 10-year-old child, in the 4th grade, to demonstrate how simple these things are.

The third section shows how the tests are prepared, and two members of the government, and the General Inspector from Bucharest, assemble each test, from the components, in a few seconds. This material has already been promoted throughout the educational network in Romania, in all 17.730 schools.

Thank you to the fellow inspectors general who quickly got involved in the distribution of these 3 video support materials. Starting from Thursday, each student received tests that will be administered at home, starting next week, under the supervision of their parents. It is important to be able to announce the correct result, and on time, of this test, especially if it is a positive one.

The advantage of testing in schools is much more important than this problem, which can be overcome, and has been overcome, I bring you to know, in several counties already, through the involvement of fellow teachers.

There are tests in schools, of course yes, we have problems, but we solve these problems by involving every school or kindergarten director, and I'll tell you once again, there are counties that have already solved this problem by involving teachers."
