Valeriu Gheorghita says that Romania needed pandemic measures similar to those in the rest of the European countries, that a COVID certificate is needed and that the 5th wave will come in January, following the cases generated both by the Delta variant and by Cea Omicron .

"The start of the vaccination campaign was on December 27, in tandem with the other European countries. In my opinion, we should have maintained the tandem with the other European countries, including the other measures applied to control the pandemic, and in fact to protect the health of the population, because this is the purpose of the imposed measures.

From this point of view, I think it is very good to be aware that the implementation of the COVID certificate is needed, that it is an epidemiological triage measure, and not a discriminatory and restrictive measure, and that nothing should be above the protection of people's health and the population.

I think the decision is very simple, from this point of view, no measure aimed at controlling the pandemic, starting with vaccination, restrictive measures, mask, and all the others, are not popular, we should not expect that they will be popular measures.
