The 5th wave seems to have started in Romania with doubling and tripling of the number of new cases from one week to the next, and below you have the prayer of a doctor for Romanians all over the country in this extremely complicated period for all of us, unfortunately.

In the conversations between colleagues, there was an air of myoritic resignation: "are they closing us again and giving us COVID?".
I think that in 2022 the time has come to stop being satisfied with a little, to stop accepting the eternal "it goes like this", to do something more.
I challenge all of you who still have hope that in Romania it is better to do 2 very simple things together to combat the pandemic:
1. I undertake that, by the end of the week, I will convince 3 people who have avoided getting vaccinated to do so in a short time: friends, acquaintances or patients. 3 people to convince to protect themselves and, indirectly, all of us.
2. I urge 3 of you who read these lines to do the same and, in addition, to ask 3 of your loved ones to follow your example.
If each of the 3 to whom your words reach perpetuates the message, the math says that in 15 such simple steps, passing the above message from one to another, we will have vaccinated together 4.782.969 Romanians (that is
3^14), reaching, very likely, the immunity threshold that would protect us all and stop the pandemic.
Let's play the trick on the vaccinated! Let's show each other that it can be done. Sursum corda!"
