DACIA Duster: The SUV's Major PROBLEM and an Important Announcement

DACIA Duster PROBLEM Majora SUV Important announcement

DACIA Duster remains one of the most important models of SUVs that are currently sold in Europe, and many areas around the world, the cars being very sought after, even if some of them have a rather serious problem.

DACIA Duster was sold up to a certain point with 1.2 liter TCe engines, they were also used in Renault cars, specifically the Captur, Clio 4, Megane models, but the Nissan Juke also had them.

The problem with this engine is that it consumes too much oil for what an engine should normally consume, and the problem is so big that in France Renault could be sued because of them.

According to the French media, a collective lawsuit is being prepared against the French group due to the use of these engines that consume too much oil and risk breaking down at any time, in the country it is estimated that there are approximately 400.000 cars that use it.

Regarding the Romanian SUV, the problem is the same because the engine itself is not different from those used in the cars sold in France by Renault and Nissan, only that in the case of our country no such decision was made.

According to those who have encountered these problems, it seems that the engines start to have problems when they approach a mileage of 50.000 kilometers, and in some cases it can even be about failures that make it impossible to use the cars.

The 1.2-liter TCe engines with problems are said to be manufactured in Spain and Great Britain, and if the lawsuit against those from Renault is successful, then many customers should receive compensation, in various forms, from the French group.

Of course, Renault is not the only car manufacturing group that has problems of this kind, but it always depends on how the customers' problems are solved, and what measures are taken so that as few cars as possible are produced with defects.

It is not known what impact a lawsuit won against Renault in France could have in Romania, but the chances of it bringing any change here, or compensation for customers, are as small as possible, unfortunately for those affected.
