Romania recorded today an absolute record of infections generated by the Coronavirus, no less than 34.255 new cases being detected after approximately 110.000 tests, also a record recorded by the authorities, and the large figure is firmly attributed to this extensive testing which is made for Romanians.
The authorities estimated that we should reach almost 30.000 new cases of coronavirus infection this week, but in reality the number is seriously exceeded, being almost double what was recorded a week ago, but there is still room of growth in terms of the infections generated by the Coronavirus.
"Until this date, at the national level, 11.650.852 RT-PCR tests and 7.048.030 rapid antigen tests have been processed. In the last 24 hours, 35.207 RT-PCR tests were performed (19.635 based on case definition and medical protocol and 15.572 on request) and 73.730 rapid antigen tests."
