DIGI Romania initially launched its 5G network with coverage in several cities in Romania, this in 2019, promising to extend that coverage in several areas of the country in the following years, but the situation has changed radically since then.

Only after this auction will be done, and the Romanian Government will decide on the ban, or not, of Huawei's 5G equipment, the people from DIGI Romania could resume their investments in this important 5G network.
