Sorin Cimpeanu officially announced a series of extremely important decisions for the millions of Romanians all over the country who have children in the thousands of open schools, and as some of you already knew, we are talking about the strategy for financial education, which would applies even from 2022.

Sorin Cimpeanu approved the version of the national strategy for financial education that is currently subject to public debate, and below you have all the details, including information about the implementation period, which would be between 2022 and 2024, according to the authorities.

"Stage I of implementation includes the period of 2022-2024, which will focus on the development of the national action plan regarding the development of parental education, the development of the national integrated curriculum for specialists, the development of the national curriculum for parental educators, the development of methodologies.

Training of human resources, implementation of pilot programs for parental education and training of human resources, initiation of information campaigns, evaluation of activities carried out, implementation of detailed cost analyzes for different types of programs.The second stage of implementation includes the period of 2024-2025, being focused, first of all, on the continuation of the actions drawn and/or started in the first stage, in particular, in order to ensure the sustainability of the policies and the durability of the results and parenting.

In this stage, the organization of extended programs for different categories of parents / persons in whose care the children are and information campaigns continues. At the same time, during this period the implementation structure, the practical ways of monitoring and evaluation are strengthened.

The third stage of implementation includes the years 2025-2030, during which the activities of parental education and the development of parental skills for young people (as future adults) will be expanded at the national level, and the information campaigns will continue. The implementation of the Strategy will be ensured at the central level by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Family, Youth and Equal Opportunities, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Culture.

The relevant ministries will sign a common partnership protocol in order to assume the role of each in the implementation of this Strategy. The central/local authorities will conclude partnership agreements with international organizations and specialized NGOs for the development and creation of parental education services and programs. After the Government's approval of this Strategy, the relevant ministries will develop the National Plan for the Development of Parental Education and integrated action plans will be developed at the intersectoral level through the participation of the involved ministries."
