The European Commission will grant new loans to Ukraine in the next period, and this is because the country needs 5 billion dollars a month to keep its economy running, and because of the war it cannot cover these costs, so it needs help externally to be able to continue working.
The USA has confirmed that it will be able to offer Ukraine a third of this amount, but the rest up to 5 billion dollars will come from the European Commission, so we are talking about somewhere around 3.3 billion dollars that will be allocated monthly by the European Union for supporting Ukraine during the war with Russia.
The European Commission has already granted aid worth several billion euros to Ukraine to be able to face the war with Russia, but the money that will come now will allow it to continue fighting so that this conflict does not spread beyond its borders too soon .
According to the Ukrainian government and the International Monetary Fund, Ukraine needs $5 billion per month to maintain its economy. The US has agreed to cover one-third, and this plan aims to cover the rest.
